Explanatory Note
Title Law Associates™ title insurance
agency, TLA Commercial Abstract Co., is in the process of developing a
technology-assisted online internet transaction system that will
assist you with all facets of the real estate transaction by
introducing an electronic transaction platform with all the features
that are critical and particular to the title insurance underwriting
and closing process. Using internet-based technology that allows wide
access to a range of products and services, we're designing the
platform as an interactive site which can receive and distribute
information. The platform should be available sometime during the
summer, 2001. We want to get all the bugs out before the platform is
added to the site. We anticipate use of the platform will shorten the
the usual real estate processing time by about 30-40%.
Service providers including Attorneys,
Brokers, Commercial Developers, Law Firms, Lenders Counsel and Title
Agents can already access and select the appropriate forms through the
current Forms Link.
We currently provide our customers the ability to place title
orders on-line on The Application Order
Center link. Once the
platform is completed selection of service providers is automatic, and
orders will be routed electronically. Service providers will only
receive the information that pertains to them. They can then confirm
the order via e-mail and ultimately send back their data via- email
