The website's companion CDrom, entitled The Law of Titles Digest, is now available for purchase. The CD contains, inter alia, the following texts in electronic format in Microsoft Word: The Law of Titles in Florida; The Law of Titles in New York; The Law of Titles in Pennsylvania; Title Insurance Underwriting, Principles and Exception Language; Lectures on the Commitment to Ensure; and Instructions as to the Use of Title Insurance Endorsements. The "Principles" text is general in nature, designed to expose the viewer/reader to general underwriting and title insurance principles. The state specific texts are are more annotated and provide the viewer/reader with statutory law and citations of authority. Also, a summary of contents section has been provided to make the books easier to use in the event they are reduced to hard copy. The "New York" text should be used in conjunction with Pedowitz, Real Estate Titles, 2d ed. New Jersey Underwriting, Clearance and Exception Language should be read in conjunction with Larry Fineberg's excellent text entitled: Hand Book of New Jersey Title Practice. All or a portion of the materials are revised and updated as warranted. All texts are organized in an alphabetical format. Contact our offices directly for copies and cost.
